🤗 They say that a person only needs three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to believe in. That's why this time, we want to suggest finding time and making space in your daily hustle to seek that balance between love, meaningful activity, and deep beliefs. Recognizing that each person can interpret and live these aspects in a unique and personalized way is also very enlightening, as it makes us realize that what brings happiness to one person may not be the same for another.
📬 In this newsletter, we present a project in Granada to reconnect with nature by participating in landscape regeneration; another one in Asturias that aims to promote coexistence between extensive livestock farming and large predators, such as wolves; and finally, a musical project with an antiracist, queer, feminist, and festive message. Loving, doing, and believing in ourselves and our ability to transform the world from within to outside are, therefore, our wishes for you. Let's keep going!
Camping Las Viñas 🏕️
💪🏼 The "Accessible Ecotourism and Intercultural Camping Las Viñas" project is an initiative by the Centro Persona y Justicia Foundation located in Jérez del Marquesado, Granada. Situated in a region of high landscape value, its objective is to connect people with nature through participation in holistic activities and learning about landscape regeneration and respectful coexistence with the environment.
🥰 The project also aims to offer educational content that relates to both personal and social dimensions, attracting diverse audiences, ranging from young individuals and families interested in environmental education to those seeking to learn about agroecology and landscape regeneration.
🏕️ If you wish to collaborate, the team offers various options, from reproductions of artworks created by individuals with different abilities to stays at the camping site and enameled ceramic plates with the names of collaborators placed on a tree within the property. Support them at goteo.cc/campingruralaccesible.
Les Mastines 🐶
🐶 Les Mastines is a project in Asturias that aims to promote coexistence between extensive livestock farming and large predators, such as wolves. Its main goal is to create a network of volunteers to conduct nighttime surveillance of herds in conflict-prone areas. To achieve this, they are seeking to raise funds to acquire night vision cameras and cover the accommodation expenses for the volunteers.
😌 In addition to fostering social debate, the project not only focuses on conflicts with predators but also addresses the social issues arising from population decline in rural areas and tourism exploitation. Their objective is to connect volunteers with the local society and culture to promote harmonious coexistence and environmental conservation.

Missex 😻
🌈 Missex is a musical project with an anti-racist, queer, feminist, and festive message. Behind the mask of Missex, a queer and anti-racist character, lies an artist who seeks to support minorities and promote equality in anti-racist, transfeminist, and LGBTQ+ struggles. Alongside their collaborator Nea, they have created the musical genre "electroguarritrop," a blend of electroclash and tropical rhythms, which they aim to spread by releasing their debut album in digital and vinyl formats.
💟 The project also carries a strong social commitment, and its artistic vision and social dedication aim to create lasting memories through their music and represent diversity in their performances. The project appeals to both long-time followers and new supporters who wish to stand for gender equality and the promotion of cultural diversity.
😊 With enticing rewards, such as the chance to attend a private concert or get exclusive merchandise, they invite you to actively participate in the materialization of their music and message at goteo.cc/missex.
A Cinematic Encounter: Espai Texas and CineCiutat 🎥
If you have ever doubted the power of the community to save and transform cultural spaces, we present two initiatives that are changing the cinema landscape in Spain: CineCiutat in Mallorca and the Espai Texas project in Barcelona. These two projects, driven by the community and citizen participation, are redefining the concept of what a cinema can be.
CineCiutat is the result of a citizen movement that refused to let their beloved local cinema, the Renoir, close its doors. Today, this cinema is self-managed thanks to its members and offers much more than just movies: it includes film classes, labs, and a variety of events.
On the other hand, the objective of the Espai Texas project is to transform the old Texas cinemas into a new cultural space that will include two movie theaters, a theater, and a bar area at the entrance. This initiative requires a series of renovations and equipment acquisitions and is being funded through a combination of public grants, private capital contributions, and a crowdfunding campaign on Goteo.org.
The idea of a meeting, a DialoGoteo! between these two initiatives, was so exciting that we couldn't contain ourselves. Imagine the exchange of ideas, potential collaborations, and opportunities to learn from each other, with each project contributing its unique approach to community cinema. The chance to share experiences and best practices is invaluable.
So, no need to imagine further, enjoy the full interview here!
