🤗 "Just as everything changes, that I change is not strange" Mercedes Sosa told us in her beautiful song, to continue with a natural law that is none other than "what changed yesterday, will have to change tomorrow." The climate, the people who accompany us, the places we live and everything else too. That is why on this occasion we want to share with you that we will continue to be here, in our necessary constant transformation since in that vital flow, if we look closely, there is always the possibility of continuing to grow, learning and loving.
📬 In this newsletter we give space to the strengthening of sustainable agriculture promoted by high school students, the defense of a natural space by their neighbors and the consolidation of a festival to make projects visible from the principles of ecological, democratic sustainability and with a gender perspective. Warehouse for the community garden in Gambia 🌅
🌅 With the participation of the NGO "Somriures de l'Àfrica" and the collaboration of the local community, young high school graduates are promoting a project that seeks to create a warehouse for community gardening in The Gambia. This warehouse will be essential to stock up on food and tools, improving the lives of more than 600 boys and girls at the Galleh Manda School and the entire community.
💪 In addition to improving food security, this project will promote community work and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the fight against hunger and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. Your donation will not only help build a warehouse, but also build a brighter, more equitable future for this community.

Let's Save La Torre Pirata ⛰️
⛰️ Health and nature are intrinsically connected. Every tree, every fresh breeze, and every corner of this natural setting plays a crucial role in our physical and emotional well-being. However, in a small town 9 months ago, the works that would destroy the Torre Del Pirata began. But they still have the strength to fight to seek justice for irreversible damage and prove that these actions are irregular and do not have the proper permits. In addition, archaeological remains have been found in the area and, therefore, constitutes one more reason to stop the destruction of the area.
✊ This is how a team of local residents has been formed, grouped into environmental groups and associations. Its members cover various fields such as biologists, botanists, journalists, urban planners and architects or artists. The discontent that is being experienced has triggered a social mobilization that has united eight associations in defense of the protection of the Pirate Tower, strengthening ties and building social cohesion. In addition, the campaigns that have been carried out during the last year have collected the signatures of more than 2,000 residents of the town and 88 artists have signed a manifesto in defense of the protection and conservation of this environment and participate in the activities.
