Estos últimos dos meses no hemos parado, os escribimos para contaros qué hemos estado haciendo y cómo hemos ido también avanzando en las recompensas del manual. ¡Ahí vamos con las novedades!
Hardware Freedom Day
Como habéis podido ver en el video resumen, el 17 de enero celebramos en Makespace Madrid el día del Hardware Libre. Aquí tenéis un artículo de uno de nuestros miembros que describe con detalle lo que estuvimos haciendo durante todo el día. Tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de la compañía de todas las personas que nos visitaron y vinieron a participar de esta celebración. Hubo un montón de actividades y de presentaciones que se fueron grabando en video, y que posteriormente el compañero Dani grabó y montó. Podéis ver el video resultado del montaje, y descubrir los distintos proyectos e iniciativas de Open Hardware que se compartieron ese día.
Jardín interior en Makespace Madrid
Este mes de febrero nos hemos propuesto mejorar la calidad interior de nuestro espacio, así que hemos congregado a los y las makers amantes del jardín para crear nuestro jardín interior. Tras una dura sesión de trabajo el sábado, utilizando todo tipo de botellas y envases reciclados, conseguimos darle color verde a nuestro frío interior de taller.
Y ya sabéis, si queréis venir a verlo, los martes a partir de las 19:00 :)
Recompensas del Manual de Supervivencia Maker: ¡los imanes!
Por fin llegaron los imanes y hemos podido prepararlos. ¡Ya están listos para ser entregados! Pero el libro todavía no (aunque ya vamos muy avanzados), así que esperaremos para repatir todo junto.
Gracias a Santiago y a Luis Alfonso por pegar los imanes a sus embellecedores, que ya llevaban tiempo hechos gracias a Sara, Jairo, Javi y otros y otras compas.
Recompensas del Manual de Supervivencia Maker: ¡las camisetas!
Hemos querido que las personas que nos quisieron apoyar adquiriendo una super camiseta, obtengan una camiseta algo especial... así que hemos hecho el estampado de las mismas a mano. Nuestro compa Edu, del que ya os hemos hablado otras veces, porque nos ha ayudado mucho con el diseño editorial, y nos sigue ayudando con la producción de la maquetación del manual en Scribus, lo ha hecho en su taller. Para realizar esta gran tarea, ha utilizado unas tipografías de imprenta antigua que son una pasada. Este es el resultado:
Pero como lo que aquí nos gusta es el hacer, os dejamos también unas fotos del proceso, por si alguien lo quiere repetir: primero se aplica la tinta sobre las tipografías antiguas...
... y luego se situan sobre las camisetas. Una vez se estampa,se deja un rato largo para que quede el dibujo bien fijo en la tela de la camiseta.
Ahora tenemos pendiente hacer las camisetas de los packs, que no estarán hechas a mano, pero serán igual de bonitas :) ¡Novedades próximamente!
Retos
Casi acabadas las recompensas, seguimos concentradas en la composición y creación del manual. Ya se han revisado una buena parte de los contenidos, pero mantener la coherencia entre las partes de los capítulos de autores y autoras diversas, está siendo todo un reto. Un reto que nos está encantando, y del que estamos aprendiendo mucho, y que esperamos poder compartir poco a pocoy que les sirva para aplicarlo a sus proyectos.
