Nuestro resumen de la Maker Faire Bilbao 2014

Durante estos primeros veinte días de campaña hemos visitado diferentes encuentros del mundo maker, como Fab10 Barcelona, MakerFaire Bilbao o MakerShow Zaragoza. En estos encuentros y gracias a la gentileza de sus organizadores, hemos podido hablar sobre el Manual de Supervivencia Maker con gran recepción por parte del público.

En concreto en esta actualización sobre el proyecto hablaremos de nuestra visita a Bilbao. En la Maker Faire de Bilbao, tuvimos la suerte de encontrarnos con makers de Euskadi, León, Madrid, Burdeos, Toulouse, Zaragoza, etc. Era nuestra primera visita a la sede de Bilbao Makers en la antigua fábrica de Artiach. Para la ocasión,  la organización, los Bilbao Makers y  Arquimaña vistieron las naves con sus mejores galas, a base de buen diseño, estructuras de cartón cortado con láser y un gusto exquisito por los detalles.

La zona de stands e instalaciones interactivas estuvo a tope todo el fin de semana. Entre los stands estaban amigos makers como Complubot y  Luis y David con los drones de LABoral,  En cuanto a las instalaciones digitales e interactivas, destacaba la de Néstor Lizalde, y otra muy divertida, resultado del proyecto BioBX (Bilbao-Burdeos).

Hemos podido también, ver y tocar varios  proyectos maker financiados a través del nodo de Goteo Euskadi, como Open Shoes, y los dos proyectos del colegio Hirukide de Tolosa: incubegg y Kubo

Pero lo mejor de todo ha sido compartir nuestras experiencias en las distintas mesas redondas y espacios de encuentro organizadas por Karim y Nerea de Bilbao Makers. En ellos hemos conocido el proyecto de Make with code y a sus promotores Teresa y Antonio; tratado temas educativos con Luis, Lucía y David de LABoral, y reflexionado sobre Makers y cooperativas con Jon Santiago. También hemos descubierto proyectos como  LaBX,  SnootLab y Tumaker entre otros.

Además fruto de esta visita Tumaker descubre el "Manual de Supervivencia Maker" y se convierte en nuestro primer patrocinador :) ¡Muchas gracias!
