¿Sabéis porque la semana del 4 de marzo del 2015 hicimos 3.533 km?

Fuimos a Córdoba, Posadas, Palma del Río, Marinaleda, Pedrera, Gilena, Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla y a El Coronil. Fuimos precisamente la semana del 4 de marzo porque se celebraron los 3 años de la ocupación de la finca Somonte. Un momento para actualizar las imágenes y entrevistas que teníamos hasta la fecha, hablar con otros protagonistas, y para poder hacer balance y proyectar el futuro de la ocupación y de aquellos jornaleros y jornaleras que se atrevieron a desobedecer la ley y transformar en algo real el grito “La tierra pa' quién la trabaja”.

Hablamos con los jornaleros Lola Álvarez, Javier Ballesteros, y Paco “El Garaña”; el Alcalde de Marinaleda, Juan Manuel Sánchez Gordillo; el secretario general del Sindicato Andaluz de Trabajadores (SAT), Diego Cañamero; la voz de Gente del Pueblo, José María Carrillo, los activistas Guillermo Contreras, Pablo Jordá, y Luna Rodríguez; el párroco de Pedrera y amigo de Diamantino García, Enrique Priego; y con el joven militante Óscar Reina.

Hicimos éste rodaje superando el presupuesto que logramos gracias a vuestro apoyo, al apoyo de más de 216 personas a través de la campaña de micro mecenazgo. Un esfuerzo que esperamos poder compensar con el trabajo resultante y con la venta de más camisetas y dvd's de Somonte, el documental.

Una vez superada definitivamente la fase de producción, entramos de lleno en el montaje. ¡Que ganas tenemos! Un montaje que prevemos acabar en el mes de junio y así poder mandaros las recompensas en setiembre o octubre como mucho. Será entonces, cuando podréis ver el film.

Os pedimos disculpas por la demora, pero sabemos que las realidades son cambiantes y las utopías como Somonte tomaron formas diversas desde el primer rodaje hasta este último. Con todo el rigor y el cariño del mundo entramos en la fase final de este documental que recoge el sueño de muchos.
